Mike Love knows a thing or two about the trucking industry.
This year marks his 41st year in trucking and his third year with Wright Transportation. He spent many years over the road, driving all across the country, before making the switch to driving locally in Mobile, Alabama with Wright.
“I like that we drive brand new trucks here and now I get more personal time,” Love says. “Wright is also very safety-conscious and they are good at keeping up with their drivers.”
In his 41 years in trucking, Love says he’s never worked with a better dispatcher than his current dispatcher, Milton Scarpa. He says, “anything Milton needs, anytime – I’ll do it!”
Working local has afford Mike more time to spend with his three grown sons – something the family at Wright understands as a family-owned company.
“I’m about to take time off to be with my family and it’s never a problem.”
