For driver Bill Hall, travel is what keeps him going.
“What I really love about my job is that I get to visit places and then I get to come home to Vancleave, Mississippi,” he says.
Bill has been in the trucking industry for 50 years, the last eight of which have been with Wright Transportation. Making the switch to Wright was an easy one for him.
“I switched to Wright Transportation because they are like family,” Bill says. “It’s a family-owned company who treats their drivers right and make sure that we get home regularly.”
Bill is a long haul driver, traveling far and wide to deliver goods. His travel has taken him to every state except Hawaii and Alaska, as far north as Canada and as far south as Mexico.
Peace of mind is what he gets with the trucks at Wright. He says Wright has “outstanding equipment,” noting that his current truck is a 2021 model and only a week old.
Having been born and raised in the south, travel also offers him the opportunity to see something southerners rarely see – snow. He says “they couldn’t get me to drive locally because I like seeing things.”
